Georgie Francis was born on the 10th of July 2017 with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. In the few short weeks she has been born she has undergone surgery 4 times and there will be many more surgeries to come. At the moment she is fighting E Coli and is very poorly. Georgie Francis has been receiving excellent care from the pediatric team in Nottingham Hospital.
The team at the Sunflower Day Centre are raising money for the family to help with the costs of travelling from Wellingborough to Nottingham each day to spend time with their daughter. Georgie’s Dad is having to take unpaid time off from work, not only to care for Georgie and her Mum, but to look after Georgie’s big sister Jessie.
Mandy, one of our Centre Managers said “Georgie could be spending a lot of time in hospital over the coming weeks, months and years so anything we can do to help this family is worth it”
If you are able to then we would please urge you to donate whatever you can to help this family, a JustGiving page has been created. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/mandy-brough-1?utm_id=106&utm_term=mKnywkW3g
